Expression of interests are being sought to be part of the Australian Pavilion with access to networking and business opportunities, at Arminera, Buenos Aires in May.

Arminera is Argentina’s largest trade show for the mining industry, involving all levels of the Argentine mining community. Australia will be the Host Country this year, with an Australian pavilion, a conference session dedicated to Australia, and a networking function with key stakeholders in the mining industry.

Australian innovation and technology companies, tech associations, investment associations, start-ups and scale ups, investors, international hubs, accelerators, and innovators are encouraged to apply.

Australia is now one of the leading countries exploring and investing in the development of the extractives sector in Argentina, with over 20 mining companies investing in the market. Argentina is among the top 15 mining exploration investment destinations and the 4th largest lithium producer. The country largest potential lies in its lithium and copper reserves, which are now critical to the world’s energy transition path.

Companies can connect with industry stakeholders and decision makers through the Austrade run bespoke program, with an Australian pavilion and networking lounge, a conference session dedicated to Australia, B2B meetings, and a networking function with key stakeholders in the mining industry.
