Join the Australian New Energy Delegation to India to tap into a new customer base

Energy businesses with commercially ready products or services, with existing resources to support marketing and development for new markets, are being offered the opportunity to expand their footprint into one of the world's fastest-growing energy markets

Investment NSW in partnership with Austrade, has unveiled an exciting chance for businesses based in New South Wales to explore India's burgeoning energy market. The New Energy Delegation to India during July, promises a platform to forge key connections and uncover potential opportunities in the Indian energy landscape.

Investment NSW will facilitate meetings for delegates with key stakeholders in Delhi and Mumbai, offering a chance to delve into the Indian market and its diverse array of opportunities. The visit will be anchored around International Energy Storage Week, slated for July 1st to 5th, 2024 in India.

To participate in the delegation, interested parties must meet certain eligibility criteria outlined by Investment NSW. Businesses must be headquartered in NSW, possess a valid Australian Business Number registered for NSW, and offer innovative products, services, or technological solutions in the New Energy industry.

Those services include but are not limited to:

  1. Energy Storage – advanced battery technology companies
  2. Green Hydrogen
  3. Microgrids
  4. Electric Vehicle & Charging Infrastructure
  5. Renewable Energy Companies
  6. Climate Change
  7. Green skills, education services and R&D

Participants must be export-capable, have between 5 and 300 full-time equivalent employees, and manufacture or headquarter their products or services in NSW. Delegates must also have a website showcasing their commercially ready product or service, and the resources to support marketing and development for a new market.

Covered expenses for participants include exhibition at the trade event, conference attendance fees, and travel to business meetings in India. However, participants are expected to cover their own international travel to and from Australia, domestic travel between Delhi and Mumbai, visa application expenses, and meals.
