Register now for the 2022 Mechanical Engineering Safety Seminar
The future of the industry, introducing battery electric vehicles to underground mining, autonomous haulage and mental health are a few of the topics to be explored at the 30th Mechanical Engineering Safety Seminar
The NSW Resources Regulator is proud to be hosting The 30th Mechanical Engineering Safety Seminar (MESS), returning in 2022. This is an excellent opportunity to share experiences, insights and learnings with mechanical engineers from across the NSW mining industry.
The 2-day seminar focuses on mechanical safety and health issues in mines and provides a means for collective communication, discussion and consultation of those issues between engineers and other key stakeholders.
There is a range of ticket options, including the full seminar (2-day pass and seminar dinner) as well as single-day options. Delegates will only be able to attend in person, there will be no online broadcast of this event.
The agenda (PDF, 92.68 KB) has been released and presentations will address a broad range of topics relevant to mechanical engineering in NSW mines. This will include new and emerging technologies, creative solutions to mining issues, findings from incidents and opportunities to learn from other industries and sectors.
Attendees may be able to claim the content of this seminar to meet their maintenance of competency for their practising certificates.
