TAFE NSW introduces flexible training courses on fuel cell electric vehicles

TAFE NSW has unveiled two training courses designed to prepare the workforce for the future of automotive technology: Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (FCEV) training and Introduction to FCEVs, Systems, and Components.

The Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle Training provides comprehensive insights into the Foton FTH12 Hydrogen City Bus, currently servicing the city of Wollongong, covering its key features, components, systems, and maintenance processes. This course is tailored for service and maintenance staff, as well as drivers with a trade background, enabling them to acquire specialized knowledge and skills required to work with FCEVs effectively.

The Introduction to FCEVs, Systems, and Components course offers essential knowledge about FCEVs and their safety features. It covers the identification of key components, high-voltage systems, safety features, and procedures for safe operation and maintenance. This course is suitable for anyone working in the automotive industry or interested in understanding more about fuel cell vehicle technology.
