NSW Resources will be hosting the 2026 Exploration Forum.
The forum will bring industry experts together to examine the rapidly evolving regulatory landscape and increasing expectations placed on explorers operating in New South Wales.
The event will equip participants with the knowledge, tools, and insights needed to meet modern regulatory standards and strengthen their operating social licence.

• Assessable prospecting approvals (APO) processes and what explorers need to know
• The new rehabilitation cost estimate (RCE) tool and its impact on exploration reporting
• Consultation Code of Practice check ins
• Site visit and compliance case studies drawn from real regulatory interactions
• Geological Survey of NSW data and projects
• The evolving land access framework
• Guidance on where to get help when navigating regulatory requirements.
The forum will also feature facilitated discussions, open workshops, and collaborative problem-solving sessions.
