Circular Economy and Clean Energy to Achieve Sustainability Outcomes in Australia and India

What exactly are the opportunities in circular economy and clean energy, why are they needed and how can the transition be achieved?

ACEC

The 2nd Australian Circular Economy Conference (ACEC) has partnered with universities, government, and industry leaders in the Asia-Pacific region to deliberate on the progress, innovation, and benefits of a circular economy. They will be shining a spotlight on the industries and businesses actively using circular economy principles. You will be able to join in person or virtually, wherever you are in the world.

The conference is co-hosted by the Waste Transformation Research Hub, the Sydney Knowledge Hub, APRU Sustainable Waste Management, and NSW Circular.

This session is organised by Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO).

To address the challenges of increasing waste flows and accelerating climate change, and to harness the economic and employment benefits of the next wave of innovation, Australia and India have the opportunity to transition their economics to become circular and powered by clean energy.

Eminent experts from Australia and India will discuss the changes in materials management and energy provision that will underpin prosperity in the future and highlight technical opportunities, business models and market needs.
