As large-scale solar farm projects demand greater rural land areas, we must address dual land use - both from a productive land and a biodiversity perspective. An emerging consortium seeks to investigate the considerations for large-scale solar panel mounting design, optimising opportunities for productive land use in agricultural contexts, the social licensing around such opportunities, upskilling required for farmers and community, and modelling on when such designs could be incorporated into other projects.

Hosted by Western Sydney University, as Lead & Partner in the Land & Primary Industries Network. Industry, Education, and Community are invited to attend, whether your commitment to this endeavour is intended to be large or small. A full agenda will be circulated closer to the date.

Lunch is provided, with access to tea/coffee facilities.

The event will be followed by a networking dinner in Richmond, NSW.
