AIE YEP Sydney | Powering the Deal

Join the YEPs for an exciting discussion exploring the technical and commercial requirements as well as best practices that underpin renewable energy transactions.

August powering the deal

Before the first panel of a solar farm is laid, or a turbine tower erected on a wind farm, considerable financial and technical due diligence is undertaken by engineers, investors and an army of advisors. This is critical in ensuring the bankability and viability of a developer’s project before funding can be formally committed towards construction and eventual operations.  This milestone of Financial Close is significant for developers, signifying the start of when their ideas come to life.

Join the YEPs at Aurecon for an evening that explores what goes on behind these critical transactions. The event will discuss best practices to calibrate development activities to each stage of a project's lifecycle - avoiding both costly over-engineering and risky under-preparation before reaching Financial Close. The session brings together developers to draw upon the lived experiences of our panelists. The event will begin with a panel discussion before breaking into a Q&A session.
