Please join Austmine on Wednesday 25 September 2024 to hear from Rowena Smith, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Australian Strategic Materials as she shares her insights and expertise with attendees.

Austmine Nobackground

Australian Strategic Materials (ASM) is a vertically integrated ‘mine to metals’ producer of critical metals for new growth industries, high technologies and sustainable energy solutions. The company’s Dubbo Project, is a long-term resource of rare earth elements, zirconium, niobium and hafnium, located in central-western New South Wales, Australia.

The Dubbo Project represents an alternative and reliable source of the critical minerals and rare earths needed to de-risk and relieve bottle-necking in the global supply chain. The Dubbo Project is construction ready, with all major permits approved. The Dubbo Project will be an important link in ASM’s global critical minerals supply chain, supplying rare earth oxides to ASM’s global metal’s plants, the first of which is in Korea and is already producing the rare earth alloys and metals that are crucial for the manufacturing of the permanent magnets that are used in electric vehicles and wind turbines around the world.

Austmine’s CEO Leadership Luncheons are carefully curated events providing opportunities for senior METS executives to network, connect and participate in higher-level discussions. This is a unique opportunity to hear from a leading industry expert in an intimate setting and engage in thought-provoking discussions.
