Hydrogen Ports and Trade Forum

As part of the 2025 APAC Hydrogen Summit week, a targeted Hydrogen Ports and Trade Forum in Sydney will bring together senior international and Australian leaders to share port-based hydrogen trade projects and opportunities.

Objectives

· Showcase leading hydrogen (and derivative) port and export/import-focused projects from Australia and globally.

· Facilitate high-level knowledge exchange between international policy and industry leaders.

· Collate insights from global ports to inform Australia’s ongoing efforts to enable hydrogen and derivative exports, in line with Action 9 of the National Hydrogen Strategy and initiatives like Australia-Germany H2Global initiative.

This event will highlight best-practice case studies around investment attraction and the development of common user infrastructure, share information on the barriers faced by ports as they progress decarbonisation strategies, and foster connections between key regions active in hydrogen port development.
