Institute for Regional Futures EOY Conference
As 2025 draws to a close, the Institute for Regional Futures (IRF) invites you to join them for their End of Year Conference: From Foundations to Futures: Leveraging Our Collective Impact.

"This year has been transformative, not just in what we’ve achieved, but in how we’ve grown as a collective. At the heart of our work are three core research pillars that have flourished into vibrant ecosystems of inquiry and impact. These pillars now host dedicated centres and networks, creating spaces for collaboration, innovation, and regional engagement.
From these strong foundations, a diverse portfolio of projects has emerged, projects that are shaping knowledge, delivering solutions, and strengthening the communities we serve.
The conference will bring together researchers, experts, administrators, leaders and partners for a day of reflection, recognition, and forward-looking conversations. Expect to hear inspiring stories, gain valuable insights, and connect with peers who are shaping the future of our regions.
Why attend?
- Celebrate the achievements and partnerships that defined 2025
- Hear from experts across IRF’s research pillars and centres
- Engage with leaders, collaborators, and partners
- Contribute to conversations that will inform IRF’s next chapter
