Philip Green, AO

High Commissioner to India, DFAT

High Commissioner Philip Green is an Australian diplomat with experience on 4 continents, having served as Ambassador or High Commissioner to Germany, Singapore, South Africa and Kenya.

Mr Green was Prime Minister Kevin Rudd’s International Adviser (2009-2010), and Chief of Staff to Foreign Minister Rudd (2010-2012).

He led the Secretariat for the Review of Australian Intelligence Agencies 2004.

Mr Green was awarded the Order of Australia Medal for his role in the response to the Bali terrorist tragedy in 2002.

Dr Monica Kennedy

General Manager, South Asia, Austrade

Dr Monica Kennedy is General Manager, South Asia for the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade). With over 2 decades of leadership experience in the education sector, Dr Kennedy has helped position Australia as preferred education partner in the region.

She led development of Austrade's international education sectoral strategy and several Australian government priority projects. These include the India Digital Education Hub, the Future Skills Initiative, Australia India Business Exchange (AIBX) and the Australia India Innovation Network.
