Net Zero Australia Report launch: Biodiversity and Energy System Planning
Join this event as the Net Zero Australia (NZAu) Project unveils the third Report from its second Phase.
This Report, titled Biodiversity and Energy System Planning, uses publicly available data and Net Zero Australia modelling to assess how biodiversity protection can be integrated into energy system planning. The seminar will highlight key findings from the Report, including:
- how national maps of biodiversity priority areas can be developed;
- how energy system planning can accommodate biodiversity protection; and
- the estimated impact of increased biodiversity protection on electricity costs.
The seminar will conclude with a panel discussion and Q&A with the audience, featuring speakers:
