NSW 2023 Quarries and Concrete Health & Safety Conference
The NSW 2023 Quarries and Concrete Health & Safety Conference will be held at the Newcastle Exhibition & Convention Centre, Thursday 3rd August 2023.
Jointly hosted by the Institute of Quarrying Australia (IQA) and Cement Concrete and Aggregates Australia (CCAA) this one-day interactive program has been developed to address important current health and safety topics relevant to the quarrying, mining, concrete and aggregates industries and will include engaging speakers and trade exhibition.
The conference will explore the principles of High Reliability Organisational theory (HRO's), Incident Investigation, electrical safety, and vehicle interactions, with a focus on psychosocial hazards, emerging industry issues, compliance and regulatory requirements.
