Procurement Capability Uplift Workshop - Hay
Get ready to boost your procurement skills at our Hay workshop - learn, network, and elevate your capabilities!

The Procurement Capability Uplift Program (PCUP) workshop is a key feature of the South West Major Projects Business Roadshow. This interactive session is designed to offer practical support to help your business prepare for tendering processes and major project requirements. You’ll gain insights into how to engage with major project contractors, improve your business operations, and boost your chances of securing future tenders.
Delivered by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) in collaboration with EnergyCo, these specialised workshops will cover essential topics, including:
- Where to find tender opportunities
- Breaking down Requests for Quote: mandatory, evaluation, and technical components
- How to write compelling tender responses and capability statements
- Pricing strategies, licensing, and insurance requirements
- Understanding terms and conditions
- Step-by-step guidance on submitting tender responses
Due to the hands-on, interactive format of the workshops, spaces are limited. Book early to avoid missing out.
The PCUP workshops are part of the South West Major Projects Business Roadshow, taking place across the region from 27–30 May. Each day begins with a Business Briefing, offering local businesses valuable insights into infrastructure developments and supply chain opportunities related to major projects.
Organisers highly recommend you attend both the morning Business Briefing and the afternoon PCUP workshop. Please note that separate tickets are required for each session.
