Participants will hear from the government, researchers, and resources and energy sector thought leaders, examine industry case studies and have the opportunity to grow their professional network.
Industry Innovation Forum
Tuesday, 6 June 2023 (Day 1)
Dubbo Rhino Lodge
An industry day focused on project announcements, new technologies and innovations available to the industry. The day will include information on the NSW Government's Net Zero Plan and Decarbonisation Innovation Hub, as well as practical solutions for a zero emissions future, including microgrids, batteries, EVs, and funding innovation.
The day will close with informal networking drinks.
Energy and Resource Site Tours
Wednesday, 7 June 2023 (Day 2)
Take part in either a Resources or Renewable Energy Tour to some key projects in the region, before arriving back at the Forum Venue for a discussion on Future Skills and Housing, which will include an interactive panel discussion.
The day will conclude with a welcome function.
Industry & Community Development Forum
Thursday, 8 June 2023 (Day 3)
Dubbo Rhino Lodge
Day three will include industry outlook for energy and resources (all commodities) and aims to build a shared understanding between industry, government, local councils and their communities on issues around transition, leveraging opportunities, social licence, development approvals, community engagement and workforce planning.
The day will close with a formal dinner at Lazy River Estate.
Mining and Energy Related Councils (MERC) Meeting
Friday, 9 June 2023 (Day 4)
Starlight Room, Dubbo RSL
A half-day meeting for members of the Mining and Energy Related Councils. Non-member Councils are welcome to attend as observers. RSVP essential.
