Safeguard Mechanism Reforms: Online information session

As part of their consultation on options to reform the Safeguard Mechanism, the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water are holding an information session where members of the Safeguard Mechanism Taskforce will discuss reform options with participants and participants can submit their questions

Registrations are now open for the online information session, Reforming the Safeguard Mechanism, on Wednesday 31 August 2022 11:00am-12:30pm AEST.

The session will also be recorded and made available for viewing at a later date.

Registrations are required to participate and close at 12.00pm Tuesday 30 August 2022.

To register your interest in attending the session, please email Safeguard.Mechanism@industry.gov.au with your details including name, email, organisation and contact number.

If you can’t attend the online session and would like to engage with the Department on the reform, you can also email Safeguard.Mechanism@industry.gov.au.

If you would like to provide feedback on the consultation paper and make a submission, you can do that on the Consultation hub. Submissions close on 20 September 2022.
