Most of us spend about one third of our life at work. It’s a big part of our daily lives and can have a considerable effect on our mental health – in a positive OR negative way.

And considering the statistics show 45% of Australian adults will experience mental illness in their lifetime, creating a mentally healthy workplace is more important then ever and can have significant positive effects on not only your workers, but your work culture, productivity and worker engagement.

So we ask you, is your workplace set-up to be flexible, supportive, healthy and productive? Is it a place where workers feel safe, valued and engaged?

SafeWork NSW are holding a Chamber business breakfast on the 15th October 2019 where they will discuss why mental health matters in the workplace and provide assistance and resources to help you create a mentally healthier workplace.
