SafeWork NSW has published a new “Guide to Safe Solar Panel Installation,” which makes clear the hierarchy of control, effectively mandating the use of Fall Prevention Devices such as scaffold, temporary edge protection or elevating work platforms on most sites, unless it can be shown to be unsafe, or not “Reasonably Practicable.”
