To celebrate National Science week, The Faculty of Science are holding SCIENCE IN PRACTICE an open day to showcase the amazing research that is happening at University of Newcastle.

The day will include practical and hands-on demonstrations and presentations for the local community of all ages.

RESEARCH SHOWCASE

  • Interactive science activities - SMART Program
  • Electric Vehicle and interactive science displays including: home-made solar cells, rocks and minerals, earthquake machine, magic beads (water absorption), hovering magnets and more.
  • A Mini Electric Vehicle Workshop
  • Speaker presentations
