This launch event will highlight the significance of the new report “The risks of oil and gas development for human health and wellbeing: A synthesis of evidence and the implications for Australia”, and how it’s written specifically to inform the Australian community and decision makers about what is at stake. The report is a result of research and analysis, aimed at informing the Australian community and decision makers about the potential consequences of oil and gas development.

Professor Environmental Wellbeing Melissa Haswell and Jacob Hegedus will speak to the report, and will be joined by other expert speakers as part of this event which will shape the dialogue around these critical topics.
