About the presenter

Simon Harrop’s sales experience has been developed over 30 years in sales and sales leadership roles, for some of Australia's leading companies. He started selling in 1986 with a Swedish technology company and was head hunted to become a sales manager in a competitive start up company at the age of 22. Simon worked with Vodafone and Ericsson then Telstra, as a Regional Sales Manager and General Manager. His passion for sales skills development, via quality training and coaching, resulted in the establishment of Straight Ahead Sales in 2008. Simon works with a range of businesses owners and sales leaders from start-ups to global corporations in Australia and New Zealand. Many of his clients are mid-sized family owned and run businesses.

His client base covers a broad range of industries including Professional Services, Finance, Manufacturing, Education, Broadcasting, IT, Pharmaceutical, Telecommunications, Healthcare, Government.
