The Big BBQ @ Zestiny Farm
BBQs powered by EVs as part of an attempt to break the world record for the largest BBQ cooking lesson, making it a fun and unique event for the EV community.
As part of the Central Coast Harvest Festival, Zestiny Farm is proud to host The Big BBQ's official Guinness World Record attempt for the world's largest BBQ cooking lesson.
The current record sits at 336 participants. We're going for 400.
Set on our 50-acre certified organic farm, you'll cook alongside hundreds of people in a single, coordinated lesson with every participant completing the same dish at the same time. When the count is done, your name is part of the record.
This is where Australia's most ambitious brands come together to build something worth showing up for. Powered by OzHarvest and Crossray electric BBQs, the experience is designed from the ground up around sustainability, community and seriously good food, farm-to-plate, on a working organic farm, surrounded by orchards and veggie fields alive with the energy of the Harvest Festival.
Great food, great company, and a blueprint for how things can be done better.
Whether you're flipping your first veg or perfecting your technique, you'll be part of a moment that blends community, climate action and great food.
Come for the experience. Stay for the connection. Be part of BBQ history.
🔥 What Is The Big BBQ?
The Big BBQ is a bold national movement with one audacious goal. And that is to take back the Guinness World Record for the largest barbecue by attendance and bring it home to Australia.
But this is more than just a record attempt.
Across six major events in 2026 and 2027, each activation is designed to showcase what sustainable living actually looks like in practice. Not in theory. Not in a brochure. Live, at scale, in front of hundreds of people.
This first event sets the tone. Powered by Vehicle-to-Load technology, electric vehicles will supply the electricity to run electric BBQs across the entire site, a world record attempt run on the energy stored in a car.
Together with charity partner OzHarvest, this is your chance to be part of a real, large-scale event experience: learning, cooking, connecting and contributing to something bigger.
We're documenting the whole journey at @bigbbqau on Instagram and at bigbbq.com.au. Follow along, or better yet, come be part of it.
Come for the BBQ. Be part of the movement.
