Description

The climate for acting on sustainability and ethics is warming locally and globally. The release of Professors Richard Holden and Rosalind Dixon's Grand Challenge report, A Climate Dividend for Australians and Professor Peter Sheldon et al's report on managing the transition from fossil fuels in just and equitable ways, are but two examples of UNSW Business School's multi-faceted work on tackling their Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) commitments.

Join UNSW in celebrating the 2018 achievements of their PRME community of practice at a lunch meeting on wednesday 27th Feb. 2019. On the agenda will be a special presentation by Prof. Peter Sheldon on the Industrial Relations Research Centre report for the CFMMEU, investigating how to achieve a just transition for mining communities in Australia. We will also discuss preparations for our Sharing Information on Progress report to the UN, due in March 2019.

Lunch and refreshments provided.
